Toyota is working on updating the Land Cruiser 300. This became clear after the Japanese resource BestCarWeb revealed the first details of the innovation. What is more interesting is that it is not about restyling. The appearance of the car will not change.
The interior will also remain unchanged, but the media system will no longer have an optical drive: the updated Land Cruiser 300 will not allow you to listen to CDs or DVDs. Instead, an HDMI interface will appear, as well as a slot for microSD memory cards.
Safety improvements concern the company's Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) system - it will be updated to version 3.0. TSS includes various active driver assistance systems.
Also, the Land Cruiser 300 will be updated to meet new cyber security requirements. However, this upgrade will most likely result in a slight increase in price. The official premiere of the updated Land Cruiser 300 is expected at the beginning of November.
