In the UK, DK Engineering has launched a very unusual Mercedes S600 W140. Curiously, the iconic representative car of the 1990s has been transformed into a practical station wagon.
The Mercedes S-Klasse W140 station wagon was created in the British studio Falcon Design and exists in a single copy (although there are similar models from other studios as well). It is based on the elongated Mercedes S600L from 1994, imported from Japan.
The roof of the sedan has been extended and side windows have been added. The tailgate is borrowed from the Mercedes E-Klasse W210 station wagon. By the way, the luggage compartment becomes larger than that of the E-class.
The interior of the Mercedes S600 W140 in question also has a rather unusual appearance. It is fully upholstered in bright emerald leather. Of course, the dual-zone climate control, sunroof, ESP, electric drive and heated seats and all the other goodies inherent in the W140 remain.
The engine of the Mercedes S600 station wagon remains unchanged. The station wagon is equipped with a 6.0-liter V12 engine with a power of 394 hp. and with a 4-speed automatic gearbox. The car is very well preserved, and its mileage in 30 years is only 108,000 km. The unique Mercedes will be auctioned.
