In the Russian capital within the forum-festival “Territory of the future. Moscow 2030" the first public display of the new crossover of the revived Moskvich brand took place. The Moskvich 8 model is a seven-seater crossover with a length of 4,824 mm, a width of 1,870 mm and a height of 1,756 mm.
The car has a massive radiator grille with LED optics and a spacious interior. Under the hood is a 174 hp GDI gasoline engine. The gearbox is seven-speed, robotic.
Earlier it was reported that the new Moskvich 8 crossover will replace similar Korean models in the Russian market. According to auto experts, it will become an analogue of the Hyundai Santa Fe and Kia Sorento models, which are no longer officially delivered to Russia.
Competitors of the car on the Russian market are Chery Tiggo 8 and Geely Okavango. The car is also equipped with a digital dashboard, wireless phone charging, a 360-degree camera system and much more. No other details yet.
It is known to be a three-row all-terrain vehicle, which, like other new Moskvichs, is a Chinese JAC with different badges - in this case, we are talking about the Sehol X8 Plus model. The Russians promise to launch the new product on the Russian market by the end of 2024.
