Unfortunately, the first place in this anti-rating is Bulgaria. Our roads are recognized as the most dangerous in the EU. Very often, tourists arriving in Sofia rent a car to travel around the country. However, analysts note that this is a surprisingly bad idea.
In second place is Romania. Traveling by train is recommended there, not a rental car. In addition, travel experts advise when planning trips: Romania has a good rail connection with Hungary and Bulgaria.
