Kia continues its entry into the electric vehicle market with the introduction of the all-new PV5 electric minivan, now available in Europe. The first is the passenger version, which will be followed by a multi-purpose van.
The model is clearly aimed at fans of the Volkswagen ID.Buzz, but it looks even more futuristic: sharp features, a lower window line, original LED lights and sliding rear doors - and all this with a length of 4.7 meters.
Inside, minimalism with a digital accent: a small dashboard and a 12.9-inch touchscreen, through which almost everything is controlled. The minivan is initially available in a five-seater version, with a six-seater version to follow later.
The 2025 Kia PV5 is available in two versions:
122 hp, 250 Nm — acceleration to 100 km/h in 12.8 seconds, battery 51.5 kWh, range 288 km;
163 hp, 250 Nm — acceleration to 100 km/h in 10.7 seconds, battery 71.2 kWh, range 400 km.
Both models have front-wheel drive and a top speed of 135 km/h.
The PV5 Essential package includes everything you need for a comfortable trip: air conditioning, keyless entry, rear view camera, adaptive cruise control, parking sensors, automatic braking and lane keeping systems.
Prices start at 37,946 euros, which makes the new product quite attractive not only for families, but also for commercial use. The Kia PV5 is not just another minivan. It's an attempt at leadership in the electric "box on wheels" segment, and it looks great too.
