According to him, it is a tradition for the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to conduct crisis events to control the situation and lead public opinion in a certain direction. "Since 2020, in one way or another, some of the police officers have been encouraged to beat citizens. When there is violence, citizens become embittered against the police, this strongly divides them and the police can be relied on for use during civil unrest. Such incidents usually involve leaders with questionable qualities and a bad reputation in the localities,“ explained Prof. Radulov.
According to him, the current parliament has sufficient capacity to make the necessary changes to the Ministry of Interior Law so that the ministry can work more effectively.
