“We are very divided on all sorts of topics. The last few years have been very toxic. I would not accept the definition of a sick society - rather an immature society. An immature person reacts to everything personally, gets very offended, gets very hurt. We are at this stage“. This was commented on “This Saturday“ by the anesthesiologist and former Minister of Health Dr. Miroslav Nenkov.
According to him, during the clash between the members of parliament, we did not see politicians, but fourth-graders, “who are offended by “Levski“ and CSKA and whose father has a bigger car“.
“The significant main “D“ politician is making personal insults. Personal insults are made at school, in the first grade. Isn't he some kind of terrible leader? Isn't he going to make some kind of terrible country? A tough man makes this country. Not the kind who says such things“, Nenkov pointed out.
“This is language and behavior that can be seen in the early years of education, when children quarrel. This cannot be the behavior of mature men“, he noted.
When asked if there is still something that unites politicians, he replied: “The neighbor's house is on fire. There is a fire in the neighbor's house. We are arguing about how the pie has become a little smoother than it was yesterday. This is shameful. These people should not be there at all. They should be digging fields or dealing with cucumbers“, the anesthesiologist pointed out and added that these people were sent to the parliament by us and are a product of our maturity.
„We should look at the neighbor's house that is burning. And say to ourselves – „now, if a spark from this fire jumps to ours, ours will also catch fire. With these people, when we sent them there, it will burn to the ground. And the pigsty will burn, not just the house“, commented Nenkov.
On the occasion that even the death of a policeman failed to humble the politicians, the former minister replied:
„These are our politicians. This is a real human misfortune for the relatives of this policeman. He died while performing his official duty for one reason or another. Because we are immature, small, we are looking for the specific cause of this death. Be it in the protest, be it in the paving stone, be it in the doctor who gave this person the medical certificate to go and serve,“ he explained.
“These people can and are riding on the deceased person, may God forgive them“, noted Nenkov.
“Elections will come and then all of us, who understand things very well on Facebook and talk about them at home with beer and sausages, should get dressed, go and vote,“, said the specialist.
