Cornelia Ninova: NSO is driving a deputy's dog to a veterinarian - 1

Raising taxes on real estate, inheritance and social security contributions is being discussed in the Ministry of Finance in the draft state budget for 2026. And food prices on the stock exchanges are increasing, incomes are frozen and inflation is rising, said in an interview with the Bulgarian National Radio the former leader of the BSP Cornelia Ninova, now at the head of "Unruly Bulgaria".

She announced that she has information about what is happening in the Ministry of Finance in the draft budget, which would be delayed by one or two weeks, but we will see soon.

In the program "Sunday 150" she called "the government is incompetent, they are bringing Bulgaria into the perfect storm":

"You will see it when they publish the draft budget. I have information about what is being discussed in the Ministry of Finance. The deficit is approaching 5%, inflation is rising. They started talking about Romanian and Greek scenarios. There is no social policy – healthcare, and they are engaged in homemade wine and brandy."

Ninova is categorical that despite tempting offers from GERB, she has not accepted them, she has been fighting the mafia for 10 years and continues, and is adamant about her principles.

"Now I confirm "never with GERB, never with the mafia", and the fact that the BSP are in government, pushing some ideas is absurd. This is an anti-social state, nothing is happening in the sphere of small, medium and family businesses. I've been traveling all summer, what's outside the National Assembly and what's inside are two worlds. Outside there are 3 problems, real, current and human, in power there are two", commented Kornelia Ninova.

The real ones are the prices, the lack of water and the racketeering of small and medium-sized businesses, subjected to racketeering.

"Now there is a water board – any result? No, the number of people without water is increasing. I call - stop the private hydroelectric power plants! Over 200, they suck water every day. Is this normal? Is this government normal? Tell these power plants how much they owe to deputies and their families. I started a study. The Zhrebchevo dam is 12% full, and Koprinka is 5%. The owners of the hydroelectric power plants are foreign companies – Energopro, Czech. It pumps our water, generates electricity, pockets millions and sells this electricity back to us. What kind of governance?, Ninova asks rhetorically.

According to her, when power is gone, the repressive apparatus is strengthened and she refers to Lyuben Dilov's proposal of "the police should beat".

"On the first working day, the deputies increased their salaries by 11%. Where is this, in which sectors the salary is automatically increased every 3 months. The NSO has turned it into a private guard. The NSO takes the deputy's dog to the veterinarian", Ninova is indignant.

She promised to publish the declaration with which she refused a car, driver and security from the NSO when she was Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy in the BSP government with the PP-DB.

"In politics, it is important to set a personal example. Three times I introduced a law to reduce and freeze the salaries of MPs, because it is immoral, illogical and economically unprofitable. From this increase in MP salaries, they immediately raised the salaries of the Council of Ministers, president and vice president, KEVR, FSC, CRC, and a total of about 400 more people. Here is the stratification, an elite that has surrounded itself with cordons, minding its own business, and the people - another opposite. This will end up somewhere," predicted the former leader of the BSP.

As the leader of the new political formation "Unruly Bulgaria", she announced that they are preparing for elections, creating structures in the country and a program.
