The opening of the new section of the "Hemus" highway will be delayed by one or two days for safety reasons. This was said by the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Ivan Ivanov during the blitz control in the relevant parliamentary committee for the section, which was supposed to be put into operation by the end of September.
"The section is completely ready. "At the moment, a measurement is being made for adhesion, and the acceptance committee of the site is meeting, because it must be launched with the relevant act," said Ivanov.
"Citizens can safely wait another day or two to make sure that everything is as it should be," the minister added.
The minister announced that another section of about 3 km will be launched by the end of October.
