Coalition partners in government gather for a council meeting today, BNR reported.
A day ago, the expectations were that GERB's coalition partners in power, the BSP and the ITN, would have to decide on Boyko Borissov's proposal to include "DPS-New Beginning" in the governing formula.
It is now clear that a radical reformation is not expected.
In a statement to the media, the leader of "DPS-New Beginning" Delyan Peevski informed that he had spoken with Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov and confirmed to him his full support for the government as long as it works for the people.
"All relations between the partners in the Triple Coalition regarding power are subject to their agreements and negotiations", Peevski wrote.
This practically confirmed the unofficial information that he will not receive ministerial positions and posts in the National Assembly.
The BSP has already declared that they are willing to make concessions, but the ITN has remained silent. And their support is key, since without their 17 MPs, the government can only count on 118 votes, which, although close, do not exceed the threshold of 121, necessary for a majority. Thus, the talks on the budget come to the fore. The topic is expected to be discussed at the coalition council.
Talks to replace the Speaker of the National Assembly, Natalia Kiselova - another request of GERB leader Boyko Borisov - are currently postponed.
