Minister Gutsanov: When we talk about pensions, for mothers, it will be done so that there are no disadvantaged groups in the 2026 Budget - 1

Everything possible will be done so that there are no disadvantaged groups of the population - this was assured by Social Affairs Minister Borislav Gutsanov in connection with the preparation of the draft budget for 2026, quoted by the Bulgarian National Radio.

"I don't see anyone saying that the "Swiss Rule" will be changed. This is the first time I hear this from you. When we talk about pensions, for mothers, it will be done so that we manage to do everything possible so that there are no disadvantaged groups - and that pensions are according to the "Swiss Rule" and to make sure that there is an increase in funds for mothers in the second year for the first, second and third child. These are currently the talks we are having with the parties that are in this government and you can see that there has been no case of not reaching an understanding on these topics", Gutsanov pointed out.

Asked in exchange for what the BSP gave its consent to rotate the Speaker of the National Assembly Natalia Kiselova, Minister Gutsanov replied laconically:

"Yesterday there was a press conference at "Positano" 20 and all political issues were commented on there".

Minister Gutsanov stated that answers to the questions related to the minimum wage, incomes and pension increases will be given at the upcoming meeting of the National Council for Tripartite Cooperation at 3:00 p.m.
