Blitz control and regular parliamentary control are on the agenda of the deputies for today, according to the voted work program of the National Assembly.
According to the rules of parliament, in the first two hours of the session on the first Friday of each month, the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Ministers appear before the National Assembly and answer topical oral questions that relate to the general policy of the government, asked by members of parliament at the session itself.
Last Friday - November 7, the blitz control was not held and due to official commitments of the representatives of the executive branch it was postponed to today - November 14. The Speaker of the National Assembly Raya Nazaryan announced at the time that letters had been received from Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov, Deputy Prime Ministers Atanas Zafirov and Grozdan Karadjov, stating that due to urgent commitments they would not be able to participate in the session. Therefore, in accordance with the parliamentary rules of procedure, the Prime Minister and all Deputy Prime Ministers will answer topical oral questions in the plenary session on November 14, 2025 as item one.
The regular Friday parliamentary control will be attended by Deputy Prime Ministers Atanas Zafirov and Grozdan Karadjov, as well as Ministers Manol Genov, Silvi Kirilov, Petar Dilov, Zhecho Stankov, Ivan Peshev, Georg Georgiev, Georgi Tahov and Ivan Ivanov.
