At 9 p.m. on Monday, the protest of the medics in Sofia ended, and traffic on Eagle Bridge was restored, BNT reported.
Earlier yesterday, medical students and resident doctors protested in front of the Ministry of Health in the capital, demanding decent wages and working conditions.
The protest was organized by the Initiative Committee "Future in Bulgaria" under the caption "You will not lie to us".
The protesters blocked traffic on Orlov Most. With shouts of "Resignation and change", "Come with us, we do it for you" and "Future in Bulgaria" they marched from the Ministry of Health building to Orlov Most.
