The father of 12-year-old Siyana, who died in a serious accident, sharply criticized the head of state after his last address. In an emotional post on social networks, Nikolay Popov said that Rumen Radev "again talked a lot and said nothing".
According to the blackened father, society's expectations of the president are that he leave the comfort of the institution and confront the real problems of the people.
"Pilot Radev is braver than politician Radev", Nikolay Popov wrote on his Facebook profile. He added that the presidency is "comfortable and warm, and the realities on the street are different from the yellow cobblestones of Sofia". Popov specified that he had shared the same with Vice President Iliana Yotova during their only meeting.
Nikolai Popov officially confirmed his intention to create a new civil movement that would oppose the current political model. He was categorical that he would not allow anyone to dictate his words and actions.
"Yes, there will be a civil movement that I am organizing right now. It will deal with exactly this political class that brought people to the streets," Popov stated.
He emphasized that he has no addictions or fears of politicians and criminal groups. "I have experienced the worst - from now on, there is no one and nothing to scare me," Siyana's father is categorical.
In his position, Nikolay Popov expresses skepticism that change can come from familiar political figures. He defines himself as a victim of the actions of politicians and the judicial system, towards whom he does not hide his anger.
"Change will not come from any of the political players we know", Popov believes, adding that President Radev is also "part of everything that surrounds us".
