The strong winds knocked down trees and caused damage in the municipalities of Bansko, Razlog, Blagoevgrad and Sandanski. Yesterday, the emergency teams of the fire department in Southwestern Bulgaria responded to nearly 10 signals.
The most were for Banya and Dobrinishte. They are mainly for fallen trees. The strong winds also caused material damage in the districts of Plovdiv, Sliven and Gabrovo.
In Sofia, by late afternoon, 25 signals were submitted for fallen trees and branches, torn off sheet metal and demolished construction fences.
