The "Petrohan" case is an ominous symbol of the broken state, which is unable to protect even its children, said the president in the period 2017-2026 Rumen Radev in a position statement.
The "Petrohan" case is a political shock and a diagnosis of the state's condition, Radev added and expressed condolences to the families and relatives of the victims, quoted by BNT.
"I will not comment on this tragedy, the clarification of which is the responsibility of the competent authorities. The reasons for the murders must be clarified as soon as possible, because society expects an answer from us.
However, this tragedy should not displace other uncomfortable revelations:
- the registration of an NGO with the name and powers of a state body is impressive;
- its legitimization by the Ministry of Economy in complete contradiction with established administrative rules;
- arbitrariness with lands and natural resources;
- the accumulated huge amount of weapons and specialized equipment;
- the powerlessness of law enforcement agencies to protect law and order, despite the signals submitted
