Alexander Yordanov: Terziev will not resign over the "Petrohan-Okolchitsa" case - 1

I understand well all those who, after the revelations in the "Petrohan-Okolchitsa" case, insist that the mayor of Sofia resign. But I will disappoint them. He will not submit it. He should have done this when our capital was littered with garbage. But then he did not submit it because he has the political support of the PP-DB. And now he will not submit it for the same reason. Only "yours" can submit resignations, but not "ours". This was written on Facebook by former MEP from the SDS Alexander Yordanov.

"Such is the political philosophy of the PP-DB. But at least it became clear that many heirs of the former nomenclature cadres of the State Security and the Bulgarian Communist Party have striven to seize positions of power and are not taught to "surrender". Therefore, we will ask in vain why the Sofia mayor financed the Petrokhan squad and its Lama. It is in the blood of the mentioned heirs to govern, not to be accountable. This is clearly demonstrated to us today by the so-called "change". All others can and must be accountable, but not them. And they are joining forces before our eyes. They are iron, as we know from the "Ballad of the Communist" by the poet Vesselin Andreev, who committed suicide on February 11, 1991, leaving a suicide note in which he denounced: " Cursed be Zhivkov and Zhivkovists!", he also writes.

"By now it is obvious that after the December protests, misfortunes piled up on our heads. As if some evil curse came from them. The "Petrokhan-Okolchitsa" case is an example. But the decision of our former president to resign and live as a party partisan is also an example. Only troubles will result from this. We still do not have a caretaker government and for the second month we have been patching up the situation with the old budget. And it will seem to us for a whole year that there is not enough money. But that is what the Protest demanded. Life has become more expensive. And do not be fooled that it is because of the euro. The reason for its increase in price is in our ubiquitous Bulgarian charlatanry. It is simply Bulgarians lying to Bulgarians. And again Bulgarians robbing Bulgarians. But this is who we are and we know each other well. It is also not known when the early elections will be held. There is complete uncertainty about the situation after them. Even the unknowns in the "Petrokhan-Okolchitsa" case are fewer. And I can predict that this case will be unraveled to the end, but the political mess we found ourselves in after the December protests will not be fixed soon. And we will continue to move around, because that is how smart we are. Let's just hope there are no other cases like "Petrokhan-Okolchitsa". Let's hope the conscience of the people connected to this case speaks up. But my hope is weak. "Change" aims to be in power, not to experience moral torment. It is not Terziev who will be tormented by this case. Or someone else like him", commented Yordanov.

"May God forgive the innocent in the "Petrokhan-Okolchitsa" case, if there are any. And may he justly punish the guilty. And there certainly are. Because taking a life is a sin and a great sin! And setting fire to the hut - a home is a sin. Burning the innocent animals, its guardians, is also a sin.

These Yavorov poems come to mind:

"Life and death cross paths every hour, but who will name honor and who dishonor?

Children, I am afraid for you!"

I am afraid too. Because, as Boyan Penev wrote more than a century ago, whom our genZites have probably heard of, "...only herd ambition, political malice and vengeful despotism, only dubious goals and dark aspirations create deeper connections and collectivity in us". And it shouldn't be like that. It really shouldn't be. But it is!

Have a nice day!", he concludes his post.
