Iva Miteva on the Petrohan case: I hope the state is not at the bottom of this thing, but there are indications in this direction

"Information is coming out that the National Security Agency knew, was notified, was there. Suddenly it turns out that they didn't understand anything. It's strange that this NGO is right there. This is a border zone. This is a poor area and it's no coincidence that it behaves poor. It's strange to have such security and so many weapons for an NGO. There are so many protected territories in Bulgaria, is this how they are guarded," asked the former Speaker of the National Assembly

Iva Miteva on the Petrohan case: I hope the state is not at the bottom of this thing, but there are indications in this direction - 1

The Prosecutor's Office sent materials from the investigation into the "Petrohan" case to the National Assembly.

What lies beneath the surface of the "Petrohan" case
"Once again, an attempt is being made to turn the parliament into an investigative institution. These documents must be declassified and the truth must come out," commented former Speaker of the National Assembly Iva Miteva on the show "The Day ON AIR".
According to her, this organization "National Agency for Control of Protected Areas" is on the surface, and behind it "terrifying things will come out".
Does SANS have anything to do with it? "Information is coming out that SANS knew, they were notified, they were there. Suddenly it turns out that they didn't understand anything. It's strange that this NGO is right there. This is a border zone. This is a poor area and it's no coincidence that it behaves poor. It's strange to have such security and so many weapons for an NGO. There are so many protected areas in Bulgaria, is that how they are guarded?, asked the former Speaker of the National Assembly.

Miteva also noted to Bulgaria ON AIR that the parents' behavior is very strange, "despite the indescribable pain they are experiencing".

"The road along which the hut passes leads us to think that it is connected to something else. I wish the new cabinet would assign the Minister of Internal Affairs to do his job responsibly. He must be a person of strong character. Many people need to start working the way they should work," she urged.
The former Speaker of the National Assembly admitted that she strongly hopes that the state is not "at the bottom of this thing, but there are indications in this direction".

The election of Gyurov as acting prime minister
"The prime minister alone cannot do all the work, especially if he has no management experience in the executive branch," Miteva reported.
When asked if Gyurov would cope, she replied that she strongly wanted him to cope.

"I saw that he was worried yesterday - when a person is worried, it means that he is honest and responsible," Miteva also pointed out and expressed hope that Gyurov would work with all the people together, that there would be good dialogue and trust between them.
