Diana Damyanova: The Black Swan Petrohan will hit the elections - 1

"I saw that in Bulgaria there is a parallel world in which the family is not a supreme value, a parallel world in which parents deny their children, a parallel world in which there is an education system, a false education system, which legitimizes the right of parents to abandon their children and not send them to school, and all this is truly shocking and cannot fail to be in the center of public attention". This was said by communications expert Diana Damyanova in the program "Metronome" on Radio FOCUS.

According to her, the topic surrounding the "Petrohan" case has triggered a strong public reaction and revealed deep divisions in society. According to her, the crisis was further deepened by the poor communication of the institutions.

"What we have seen in the last two or three weeks, apart from the poor communication of the Ministry of Interior, although I justify them. They cannot simply give us a list of facts and leave us to treat them, but the communication is poor, it has not been calculated correctly. In such moments of crisis, controlled briefings are held three times a day, in which you try to provide additional information, and in general this was very poorly done", she commented.

Damyanova also touched on the political opinions surrounding the case, including the position of We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria.

"To all questions addressed to them, they behave as if this somehow does not concern them. Their classic belief is that when they are "from us", they are good, when they are "from the Boriss" are bad, that is, everything that comes their way cannot be good. Now, however, I do not see any remorse", the expert also stated.

According to Damyanova, the elections could be influenced by the "black swan", referring to the "Petrohan" case, emphasizing that this is already the second such case after the sudden fall of the government and the exit of Rumen Radev. "It is clear that Radev's potential partners - BSP, in a very extreme case Vazrazhdane, and PP-DB - are threatened with losing percentages. In this sense, it will be difficult to form a government," the expert added.

According to her, one of the key tasks of the next caretaker and regular cabinets will be to give categorical answers on the "Petrohan" case and to prepare the society for fair elections.
