Regular coordination meetings between the heads of the regional directorates of the Ministry of Interior and the regional governors will be held to prepare for the upcoming early elections in April. This became clear at the meeting initiated by Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov today at the Council of Ministers, in which the acting Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior Georgi Kandev also participated.
The purpose of the local working meetings will be to discuss current issues regarding the organization of the elections, as well as timely response to incoming signals.
Kandev also announced that a plan will be approved and a headquarters will operate in the Ministry of Interior to coordinate the actions of the ministry's structures in the process of preparing and holding the elections.
