A tense political week is ahead. There are only a few days left of work in the 51st parliament, in which MPs must adopt the Budget Extension Act.
The Minister of Finance issued an appeal to the parties to adopt the budget plan as a matter of urgency. Otherwise, the state will not be able to make payments after March 31. Georgi Klisurski explained that the financial provision for the early parliamentary elections in April is also at risk.
In advance, GERB and PP-DB explained that they would support the texts. GERB leader Boyko Borisov called on the parliamentary group to support the state treasury bills in the form in which they were submitted. And the Chairman of the Committee on Budget and Finance requested that the financial framework be considered by the relevant committee on Thursday, and that the texts be put to a vote in the plenary hall on Friday.
