Three new drones at Sofia airport. This was confirmed to bTV by the “Vasil Levski“ airport.
This night, 3 signals were received for three drones. The airport specified to bTV that the drones were detected at 23:03, 23:27 and 00:15 this night.
No aircraft had to be diverted, there was one delayed flight to load the drones. A plane from Brussels landed 11 minutes later than expected. Within a few days, the airspace over the airport was violated by several drones.
On Saturday afternoon, because of a drone, a plane coming from London made an emergency landing in Plovdiv. In the afternoon, another drone forced a flight from Cologne to land in Varna.
