Former speaker of parliament Iva Miteva will not be the leader of the Progressive Bulgaria list in Ruse. This was reported by News.bg.
Initially, Iva Miteva was determined to head the list in the city, but subsequently Rumen Radev's project changed its mind. What the reasons are is still unclear. Even before the project around the former head of state was drawn up, it became clear that the former speaker of parliament would be part of it.
We recall that she left ITN together with Lyubomir Karimanski. Other names linked to the list in Ruse are former regional governors Borislav Balgarinov and Anatoly Stanev, municipal councilor Deyan Nedkov is also expected to find a place among the candidates for deputies.
Krassimir Ivanov is also included in the list. He was part of the project of former caretaker prime minister Stefan Yanev - "Bulgarian Rise". According to unconfirmed information, Radev's headquarters has decided to rely on local authorities in the lists for parliament.
In this regard, the option of Iva Miteva leading in Razgrad is being discussed. However, it is not clear whether the stocky lawyer has not become disappointed with "Progressive Bulgaria" and has not found a common language with Rumen Radev's people. On the other hand, Radev himself said that if necessary, he will not hesitate to part ways with people with whom he does not share the same values.
