Yavor Gechev: The potential of "Progressive Bulgaria" is to have 120 MPs - 1

"Progressive Bulgaria" is a dream for a progressive Bulgaria.

This was said in an interview with the Bulgarian National Radio by Yavor Gechev, former Minister of Agriculture and leader of the coalition list in Kyustendil for the upcoming parliamentary elections. According to him, it is a project born "from the demands of society itself" and "people's feeling that something is wrong".

"The ambition is not simply to win the elections. The ambition is to change the country, and to change it in a different way. The success of the elections will be significant, predicts the former Minister of Agriculture, according to whom "the first time society always gives its energy, its trust", he also said.

"The potential of "Progressive Bulgaria" is to have 120 deputies", Gechev was categorical.

Gechev explained that they will strive for "an economically strong Bulgaria, based on the national interest" and pointed out that "Progressive Bulgaria" is a representation of people with different beliefs who do not follow mantras.

Yavor Gechev noted that in the first place they are united by "the dismantling of the current oligarchic model". According to him, "Radev irreconcilably, for 10 years he did not like the state as it is, he had an aspiration to change it, but he could not do it from the presidential post".

"The main opponents of the new formation are "the current representatives of the oligarchic model – DPS with leader Peevski and Borisov as leader of GERB", Yavor Gechev pointed out and assured that there will be no points of contact with Delyan Peevski.

"Progressive Bulgaria" will present a realistic, not hollow platform that offers adequate solutions, said the former Minister of Agriculture.
