About 7,500 voters voted in Istanbul in today's parliamentary vote, diaspora organizations reported to BTA.
The activity was slightly higher at the polling stations in Istanbul in the afternoon until the closing of the stations in the largest Turkish city, and in Bursa and Gebze, Kocaeli district, voting was extended until 9 p.m., the organizations indicated.
According to data from diaspora organizations, 512 people voted in the two stations at the Consulate General of Bulgaria in Istanbul.
In the Avcilar district, 1,400 people voted, and in Bayrampaşa 1,222 people. In Esenyurt, 1,120 people voted, and in Bahçelievler, 1,141 people.
In Gebze, where voting was extended until 9 p.m., 2,050 people voted.
