I am not optimistic that the commission "Notary" in the National Assembly will achieve results.

"This would be a scandal in any normal country and would be the number 1 topic in the media until the tone is clarified whether it is true or not. We have seen the distortion of the entire political system - this issue is simply not raised.
Staykov emphasized that at the top of the Ministry of Internal Affairs there are currently appointments indicated by PP-DB:
"There is direct evidence, and it was tacitly confirmed. ... Promises to fight corruption cannot be just a pre-election slogan, and should be forgotten at the first contact with an important authority. ... In every announcement of the Ministry of the Interior on the "Petio-Euroto" cases; and "The Notary" there is one step forward and several steps back.
In the show "Sunday 150" Staykov pointed out that the names of chief prosecutors who should investigate appear from the documents on which there are pre-trial proceedings.
"In the documents on which inspections or pre-trial proceedings have been initiated, the names of the chiefs of the rank-and-file prosecutors who must investigate appear. Finally, there remains a bare promise from the prosecutor's office that there is no form of pressure. We at AFC can list at least 25 ways in which an administrative head can influence - both legally and in an invisible way, on the objectivity of an investigation," he specified.
In his words, the appointment of additional prosecutors is an absolutely legal way to influence a pre-trial proceeding.
Stajkov emphasized that the ACF is carefully monitoring what happens to the several sources of material evidence in the two cases - "The Eight Dwarfs" and "The Notary":
"These two most important pre-trial proceedings by the prosecution, which are among the most prominent long-running influence groups in the judicial system, talk quite frankly about compromising records with magistrates and senior police officers. When the documents are opened, this is spoken absolutely directly and freely. We are talking about different types of compromising records - most probably we are talking about mainly two types of records, which are related to corruption and directly compromising situations. That's what they're talking about. ... Our biggest concern is whether this (bottles, disks, computers) will not be covered up and disappear or simply be erased, because a large part of the corrupt influence in the judicial system turns out to be carried out in this way. There is no way to expect such a valuable commodity, which can be directly converted into influence in the judicial system, to simply disappear, but rather some will turn into some other group of influence or one of the old ones will be resurrected", Nikolay Staykov also commented .
The journalist pointed out that the direct connection between politicians and the judicial system takes place through the election of the chief prosecutor, "from whom, due to the very strong hierarchy in the prosecutor's office, the direct influence is obtained in the entire prosecutor's office, hence the judicial system":
"A direct agent of political influence in the prosecutor's office is the figure of the chief prosecutor.
According to him, the groups of Petio-Euroto and Martin-Notarius are not just two different teams that met at the top:
"By virtue of negative selection in the judicial system, the friends of these people go up. The name of magistrate Georgi Ushev came out, who then became the chairman of the Specialized Court, and he was responsible for the biggest corruption cases.
He announced that in some of the next documents that ACF will publish, there will be a much more direct connection than the one mentioned with Ushev.
