President Rumen Radev will hold consultations with the parliamentary parties in the 49th National Assembly today. This was announced by the press office of the head of state.
The candidate for acting prime minister, Dimitar Glavchev, will also participate in the consultations. He is expected to present the ready list of caretaker ministers that he has chosen for his cabinet.
After the consultations with the parliamentary groups and on the proposal of the candidate for interim prime minister, the president appoints an interim government and schedules new elections within two months. On March 30, Radev commissioned Glavchev to propose the composition of an interim government. He gave him a deadline of seven days so that the elections could be held 2 in 1 with the European ones.
