"BSP for Bulgaria" registered its lists for the European elections with the CEC, NOVA reported.
"We will fight not to accept that decisions in Europe are taken by majority, not unanimously. This means that small countries are excluded from decision-making. We will work for a dignified Bulgaria in a peaceful Europe", said the leader of the left, Cornelia Ninova.
The leader of the Eurolist is Christian Vigenin, followed by Rumen Gechev, Tsvetelina Penkova, Vyara Emilova, Filip Popov, Alexander Simov and Gergana Alexova. Women in the entire list represent 40% of all MEP candidates.
"The goal we set for ourselves is to send people who will protect Bulgarian interests in Europe. We want to be on an equal footing with other countries, to stop the tendency of Bulgaria to be seen as a second-hand member state, to revise the Green Deal so that it benefits Bulgarian energy and Bulgarian jobs. "Bulgarian farmers should receive the same subsidies as European ones, stop humiliating Bulgaria for accepting us in Schengen, and set us conditions for the return of refugees," said Ninova.
When asked what the BSP's position is on the scandal with the children's hospital, Ninova said: "The first question is why they accepted that it is private. The official cabinet is ordered by Borisov and it is normal to carry out the policy and restore the management model of GERB from recent years. Don't pretend Mr. Glavchev is a prick, that he just understands. This thing was voted in the Council of Ministers, it was prepared. The reaction of GERB shows that they are not indifferent to this thing. And if there was no public reaction, it would probably have passed and quietly left for the holidays," she also said, quoted by the party press center.
