The deadline for parties, coalitions and initiative committees to make proposals to the Central election commission (CEC) for registration of candidate lists in the elections for members of the European Parliament, is until 5:00 p.m. today, May 7, BTA reported.
Proposals to the regional election commissions (RIC) for the registration of candidate lists in the elections for people's representatives can be made again until 5:00 p.m. today.
The same is the deadline in which a party or coalition registered for the elections for members of the European Parliament and/or for the elections for national representatives can submit an application to the CEC to have its registration for participation in the elections deleted.
Until today, an initiative committee registered to participate in the elections for members of the European Parliament can submit an application to the CEC to have its registration for participation in the elections deleted.
At the CEC, three initiative committees submitted documents and registered for participation in the elections for members of the European Parliament from Bulgaria for the promotion of three independent candidates for members of the European Parliament, the deputy chairperson of the CEC, Rositsa Mateva, announced at a briefing last week. Then she recalled that 23 parties and 11 coalitions submitted registration documents, and noted that one party had its registration deleted. 22 parties and 11 coalitions remained registered and will participate in the elections. Of these, one party and one coalition are registered only to participate in the elections for people's representatives, Mateva said.
