This is how the chairman of the Union of teachers of auto-moto training Yonko Ivanov commented to btvradio the new organization of traffic on boulevards in the center of Sofia.
„An aggressive, arrogant arbitrariness of a carriage of people, of a handful of people who did not read the law, did not comply with any requirements for approval of this project and hide behind the phrase – there, a team made a project and they did not dare to show the leader of this team and the irresponsible silence of all this by the Traffic Police, by the so-called transport commission in SOS, 20 people to impose their opinion in such an arrogant and aggressive style, some crazy Komsomol ideas and pathos in these so-called cyclists, because of which the entire organization of the movement changed and the inaction of the state to show these willfulness.
We have cyclists, we also have bicycle electrics – e-bikes develop speeds of up to 40-50-70 km. There are 3 types of cycle paths, cycle lanes, which make it possible to pass through the parks with a view to more interesting movement, to give cyclists who go out with their families the opportunity to enjoy the beauties of Sofia.
