Bulgaria will import workers from India after signing a Migration Partnership Agreement and mobility. This was announced by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Bulgaria has not been able to overcome the problem of shortage of skilled labor for years, especially in sectors such as construction, tourism, pharmaceutical industry, transport and logistics. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry sees the partnership with India as a good opportunity, which will be secured with the signing of a partnership agreement on migration and mobility.
The document must regulate easier access to the Bulgarian labor market. The prospects for this cooperation will be the subject of a discussion organized jointly with the Indian-Bulgarian Business Chamber.
The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry specifies that by 2025, India will have one fifth of the world's population of working age. This will make the country the largest supplier of skilled labor in the world.
