There is a total misunderstanding of what politics is and who these politicians are for. So the campaign is understandable, and so is the lack of it. In his words, the judicial reform has "returned the thieves to power".
"First he returned them to parliament, then he returned them to power. After that, for the next God knows how many months, even years, we will have a caretaker government of the GERB, thanks to the judicial reform. I have some doubts about the current composition of the Constitutional Court, especially regarding the last two elected constitutional judges. The Constitutional Court in our country has not been a real court since time immemorial. Now they have arranged things in such a way that the Constitutional Court has become an extremely meaningful court, they have also given something that Borisov did not have before - the Constitutional Court", added Adv. Khadzhigenov on Bulgaria ON AIR.
He is adamant that there are ways to depoliticize the system.
"Things have to be changed drastically by people who know how, can, and hold them. Every day there are new crimes - corruption, which are on a huge scale. There are no accusations, and if there are - they are so wrong that they never come out. There is evil intent here. We need new rules and new people, this applies to all services in our country, this applies to the entire Ministry of the Interior as well, because this does not work", commented the guest.
He gave the example of Romania, where politicians have already been put in prison: "They stopped the thefts, put 20 governments in prison - this works all over the world. We have to do it here too, a house is built from the foundations, not from the chimneys.
Adv. Khadzhigenov also commented on the leaked recordings of Kiril Petkov.
"These records are CPCs. What came out on that site came out in a specific way. These are the so-called "public evidence". With every case with the CPS there are exactly such records. Private entities, when they make such records, they keep them only on records. "Even if they have the software, which is expensive and they don't need it, and turns words into physical evidence, it's a huge toy," he explained.
The representative of "We are coming" is convinced that the services were involved in the recordings.
"The notary is the intermediate link between Pepi Euroto, the prosecutor's office and dirty money. Bozhkov proved years ago that he carried bags of money every week for a specific reason. So we need political will. Borisov lies, but he lies on a small scale," recalled lawyer Nikolay Khadzhigenov.
