If ITN rejects coalition with GERB-SDS and DPS, if they do not have 121 votes, the hypothesis is new early elections, because there will not be a parliamentary majority to produce a government.
The forecast was made before the BNR by the political scientist Georgi Kiryakov and he pointed out that the government will certainly be a coalition.
The key question is which parties will negotiate for a government, he categorically stressed.
According to Kiryakov, the probability of coalition negotiations between GERB-SDS and PP-DB is very small:
"This means that GERB will have to seek support from DPS and possibly from a third political force if they fail to collect 121 votes. The most likely option is IT".
The political scientist commented that the reason for the PP-DB result was "a bad political campaign and poor communication by politicians with the voters, even their own".
According to Georgi Kiryakov, from the reactions of the parties after the first results of the vote, it can be concluded that they are not satisfied with the election results:
"The collapse of PP-DB is not according to the wishes of GERB-SDS. GERB's result is not according to their desire to have a significant lead over PP-DB. It will be necessary to enter into negotiations to form a coalition government and GERB will have to lead them, and it is not clear with whom it will lead them. Left unsaid by the parties is for another election in the autumn, which will open the political field for a radicalized vote.
