The executive director of "Heating Sofia" has resigned and that is good news. Unfortunately, however, since the beginning of the year, Alexandrov has managed to launch public procurement for BGN 217 million.
"It is important to clarify that this is not typical for the business of "Toplofikatsia Sofia", so we are glad that he resigned before further debts were incurred," said the municipal councilor from the PP-DB group -SS Emilia Angelova.
Six municipal transport companies have their mandate expired already in 2022. Emilia Angelova explained that these companies are the Center for Urban Mobility (CGM), "Electrotransport", "Autotransport", "Metropolitan" and "Sofinvest".
Angelova pointed out that it is not clear why no contests were held all this time. Municipal Councilor Boyko Dimitrov pointed out that tenders should be announced for companies with expired mandates as soon as possible, but they should not be formal as before, but there should be a transparent procedure, he added.
In Dimitrov's words, the PP-DB-SS will insist on a complete methodology, as well as ensuring transparency, publicity and non-discrimination of individual candidates for all candidates. We will insist that long enough deadlines are given so that enough professionals can appear, Dimitrov added. He called on the Supervisory Board of "Toplofikatsia Sofia" also to comply with those rules they will impose.
