The samples taken from sea water yesterday, do not show a deviation from the standard for the quality of Black Sea waters, said in the village of Kranevo, acting Minister of Environment and Water, Petar Dimitrov, quoted by BTA.
He was in the Balchik village of Kranevo on the occasion of the accident that occurred at the discharge collector of the "Albena" complex. Today, employees of the "Black Sea Region" Basin Directorate are on site. (BDCR) and the Regional Inspectorate for the Environment and Water - Varna (RIOSV) took samples of the sea water.
Every year before the start of the season, something like this happens in order to reassure people that the Bulgarian Black Sea coast is beautiful and the water quality is very good, said the official minister. He specified that it was an accident involving pipes that lead purified water into the sea.
The director of BDCHR Yavor Dimitrov was also present, as well as employees of RIOSV.
