The Sofia Court of Appeal left 23-year-old Ukrainian citizen Daniil Zinchenko in custody on charges of espionage. He was detained and charged with espionage at the Maritza Iztok 2 TPP.
On June 18, the man was arrested at the headquarters with drones, mobile phones and SIM cards.
The decision of the court was made behind closed doors and is final.
Investigators have doubts that he was trying to pass information to foreign countries.
