The meeting started with a scandal of the BSP National Council today.
„The party evaluated the temporary leadership of Gutsanov and Zafirov – the socialists boycotted them because there is no regular meeting of the National Council. The plenum began with the registration of people who are not members of the National Council, not even members of the party”, announced Georgi Svilenski and Ivan Chenchev.
„According to the rules, the lists must remain at the registration table for one hour. They were hidden 10 minutes earlier. This gives rise to serious concerns that the lists may be supplemented and then, for example, we see that the mayor of Dryanovo Trifon Panchev appears on the list, given that he is not present now. I am asking a question," Ivan Chenchev pointed out.
The plenum is illegitimate and will be the next contested before the all-party control commission and judicial bodies, the socialists are categorical.
The scandal and the gross attempt at forgery put the BSP's participation in the elections at serious risk. The actions of the new leadership also threaten the party with a serious split. These people do not unite – they are disuniting, commented socialists who learned the news.
