We strive for calm in the system, and there is now. The attack against Kalin Stoyanov is very rude, unfortunately political. This was stated to BTV by the Deputy Chairman of the Trade Union of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Iliya Kuzmanov.
"We do not have any assistance regarding the announcement of the protest, we are citizens and we have an opinion on the case," he said and added that the protesters have very clearly stated that they support the way the Ministry of Internal Affairs is run. Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev was also aware of this.
"The human factor in the Ministry of Internal Affairs is severely underestimated. It happened that there were ministers who lived like kings, sending orders to us as subjects", commented Kuzmanov.
"The migrant crisis began in 2012. Since then, the Ministry of the Interior has been under tremendous pressure, with business trips, with difficult conditions at the borders. We asked to increase the staff - no one did. This only happened this year," he added.
