I don't think that Cornelia Ninova has neither the moral nor the legal right to register the BSP lists for any election. on Radio "Focus" Gabriel Valkov, chairman of the Youth Union of the BSP. "She was expelled from the party," he added.
"In our party there has always been democracy and the collective bodies have always decided, that is, the National Council must meet, first of all all municipal organizations from all over the country, regional councils and conferences to raise their nominations and arrange their leaves. Then we convene a National Council, it approves the lists that the country has raised and arranges the leaders, because that is within its powers. And when he closes these sheets, approves them, the chairman simply puts his signature, which is purely formal. It is a bit like the National Assembly - it votes on a law and the president signs it, but the signature is formal, he cannot help but sign it, because he has to implement the decision of the collective bodies accordingly. This is how the party is structured," explained Gabriel Valkov.
"Cornelia Ninova keeps submitting fake resignations. I think this one follows more or less the same rules, at least in her head, in which she resigns, but now she's going to put the papers in order. If one person resigns, I believe that they should then pass the baton, as they say, to the next person to take over the party, because that's how a party works, that's how a normal party works in this case. But the big problem is that we are clearly talking about some other ambitions on the part of Cornelia Ninova to continue ruling, even though she is resigned, not to withdraw, and to want her to sign the lists and register the party",< /strong> he added.
"She (ed. Kornelia Ninova) in the past years always spoke about the millionaires who take over the party and she, as the most honest person in the country, stands at the head of this party and fights with these millionaires. But what I see as a member of the National Council, for me inside the National Council - there is a big red oligarch called Rumen Ovcharov. He is the only person from the National Council, and the only person from the BSP according to " "Magnetic", i.e. proven on a global scale. And for me, this person stands closely next to Cornelia Ninova. We also see him through his media appearances, through the votes in the hall in the National Council. That is, the only oligarch that I, as a young person, see inside the BSP is Rumen Ovcharov and he sits side by side with Kornelia Ninova. So she doesn't know what other oligarchs she sees and what she's talking about, but the reality, in my opinion, is a little different,", commented the chairman of the BSP Youth Organization.
Gabriel Valkov clarified that he does not know that there are people who want to leave the party. "On the contrary, I saw people who are hopeful for change, that the BSP is going in the right direction, that it is going back to its roots and collective beginnings. It stops with the dictatorial approaches of the current leadership and returns power to the hands of the real socialists and the collective bodies, as it has always been in the history of the party.
