Once again we are in a non-standard situation and I would say - an absurd political situation, one that contains within itself a series of crises, incessant elections, party dramas, categorical public distrust, public distrust of all of us who are in this room. If we have to analyze what is happening, we are on the threshold of the path of disintegration of statehood and the beginning of the party. This was stated in a statement on behalf of the parliamentary group of the BSP for Bulgaria. its chairman Borislav Gutsanov on the occasion of the start of the new plenary session of the 50th National Assembly, BTA reports. The declaration states that there has been practically no parliament for two years.
Have we formed a government – no, have we created a chance for stable governance – no, did we help people with anything – budget, pensions, income, inflation, economy, drought – again no. So how should the Bulgarian citizens vote then, what is the use of such parliaments and what is such a parliament and such a government for, he asked rhetorically. In our opinion, the entire system in Bulgaria needs to be restarted. It can't be like this anymore, and I don't know if you don't realize it and don't understand it, but each one of you slides along this plane because it's easier, Gutsanov said. No more assemblies, retail games, pitiful agreements of the first with the second, with the third and how to survive for a few months. That is why we tell you today - it is not a time for opening speeches, these speeches are pathetic, against the background of the parliamentary impasse and abyss, against the background of the inability to find a way out of the situation, against the background that we are going to early parliamentary elections for the seventh time in three years, he said. It is with great sadness and anxiety that we watch how self-centeredness increasingly conquers the parties and individual politicians, and the result for the people and the state is absolutely zero, Gutsanov added.
"Today, we from “BSP for Bulgaria“ we tell you - enough! End of these games, it's time to restart the system, it's time for construction in Bulgaria. The BSP is here and we will not allow irresponsibility towards our national interests to continue, the BSP will be the guarantor of the Bulgarian constitution, for the protection of the national, Bulgarian interests," he declared.
The state can no longer do this and I am sure that each of us who loves Bulgaria understands that. That is why we believe that everything should remain in the past and dialogue is the key word for building a new modern Bulgaria and the BSP will make every effort to make this happen, said the chairman of the PG of the "BSP for Bulgaria".
