Today we received a letter from Tsvetan Vassilev with new data on Delyan Peevski, including scanned documents from Vassilev himself. This was announced in the show "Face to Face" on BTV Ivaylo Mirchev from "Yes, Bulgaria", specifying that the letter was also sent to the National Assembly.
The letter is extremely well structured. We have looked into it and will take very quick action. Inside there is information about racketeering by Delyan Peevski to representatives of KTB. We will again ask for a hearing of Tsvetan Vassilev and the heads of the services about what actions have been taken over the years regarding Delyan Peevski. We will also request a hearing from the management of the Bulgarian Development Bank about the loans granted to companies close to Peevski, Mirchev said.
We will demand that Peevski be held accountable and his immunity lifted, as long as the Attorney General requests it. That will happen this week and next week. We will await the next actions of the Attorney General because he may request his immunity. And we in the National Assembly can vote to remove Peevski's immunity, because he must be investigated, emphasized the politician from "Yes, Bulgaria".
There is clear evidence, there is a person who is ready to testify. From there, the institutions must be activated. We expect the chief prosecutor to request the immunity of Delyan Peevski and for him to be voted on in the hall. Action must be taken. The neutralization of Peevski in the public sphere is extremely important for the development of Bulgaria, pointed out Ivaylo Mirchev.
