With his statement that the Bulgarians were uncivilized and miserable and that the Bulgarians and the Macedonians did not have a common history and were not one people, Macedonian Vice Prime Minister Alexander Nikoloski crossed all borders. This is the most immoderate and simple statement of a Macedonian politician in the last 30 years.
With these anti-Bulgarians who rule in Skopje today, a normal dialogue cannot be held. Diplomacy and silence from the Bulgarian side actually encourages the authorities in the RSM to be even more brutal in their language of hatred towards Bulgaria. They perceive Bulgarian tolerance as a weakness, and this affects the Bulgarians in the Republic of North Macedonia, who are subjected to terror on a daily basis.
This is stated in the position of VMRO on the occasion of yet another anti-Bulgarian statement by an official in the Republic of North Macedonia.
If Nikoloski thinks that we don't have a common history, then let them erase from the Macedonian textbooks the history until 1944. Neither Tsar Samuil is a Macedonian Tsar, nor Cyril and Methodius, Kliment and Naum are any Macedonians, nor Raiko Jinzifov, nor Grigor Perlichev , nor the Miladino brothers. For the simple reason that all these individuals, as well as the revivalists and revolutionaries, called themselves Bulgarians in Macedonia until 1944. But as soon as the deputy prime minister of the RSM thinks that we have no common history, they should be so good as to withdraw their application for membership in the EU, since they only recognize Yugoslav history, when the so-called Macedonian nation was violently imposed by Tito's communist partisans and their minions in Skopje, says VMRO leader Krasimir Karakachanov.
The other scandal aimed at Bulgaria is about the absence of the Macedonian flag during the meeting between the Bulgarian and Macedonian presidents in Sofia a few days ago. And why is there no reaction against Croatia, from where there are photos from an official visit of the Macedonian Prime Minister Mickoski, on which it can be seen that there is no Macedonian flag? And the reactions are against Bulgaria that there was no flag of Macedonia during the visit of President Siljanovska. But let us remind you that the Macedonian president was not actually on an official visit, he was at the opera. And by the way, she met the Bulgarian president. That is why their meeting was not on the protocol.
RSM was built and continues to develop as an anti-Bulgarian state. There is no way Bulgaria can maintain relations with it. Our European partners, who remain silent, should also be informed about this. Bulgaria must toughen the tone towards the RSM and show the Yugoslav meekers that Bulgaria is not a mouthful for them.
