Rumen Evtimov from the SDVR team is the winner of the individual prize at the jubilee 30th National Competition " Traffic Policeman of the Year".
His runners-up are Georgi Yanev from the Yambol team and Elizar Iliev from Gabrovo. In the team ranking, the first place was taken by the ODMVR-Gabrovo team, followed by that of Shumen and Yambol.
In the women's individual classification, the first place was taken by Kristina Ignatova from the Ruse police, followed by Ivaniela Hristova from Lovech and Joana Yordanova from Shumen. In the women's team ranking, the first place goes to the team from Ruse, followed by their colleagues from Yambol and Stara Zagora.
The winners were awarded at a ceremony on Saturday evening.
„Choosing a host city was a difficult task, but our decision to make it Panagyurishte was not accidental - there is also symbolism in it,” Minister of the Interior Atanas Ilkov said at the award ceremony.
In addition to the winners, symbolic awards were also presented to former chiefs of “Road Police” and to all the contest winners over the years.
