They have been inseparable for the past 20 years. Especially when the old dispatchers were slightly peeled away from the DPS management, the DPS contacted Dogan directly, there was no second person who could say "I am the DPS".
The political scientist Mehmed Mehmed commented this to the BNR.
The personalities in the candidate lists will influence, but it also depends on how strong the specific candidate is, because there are different "bullies" in different districts, he noted and explained:
"DPS, when it was a consolidated party, was determined by the powerful in the various regions and municipalities - their influence is huge among the population, because a large part of the electorate works for these people. This will also be the puzzle now - apart from names, surnames, the financial and economic point of view - who holds how many people".
According to him, the people around Ahmed Dogan greatly exaggerate the topic of the Revival process. According to him, the current situation has nothing to do with a new Revival process:
"We simply see what influence Delyan Peevski has gained in the state thanks to DPS. We all knew it and repeated it, but the DPS pretended to be deaf and blind".
The parties in Bulgaria are leadership, except BSP, Mehmed Mehmed stressed. And he said:
"When the leader says - whether Ahmed Dogan or Boyko Borisov, the others below listen and the hierarchy is respected. If it is not respected, we see how such people flake off".
According to him, the formations that were created after breaking away from DPS over the years do not have the financial and economic capital to make a strong campaign and attract more votes in the elections. Peevski has exactly that, the political scientist believes. According to him, this will be a vote based on dependencies:
"Now we will find out in these elections how much they are dependent on Delyan Peevski and what influence he has built during these years in the DPS.
In the show "Above all" the political scientist expressed the opinion that Peevski will use the entire set of tools he has in his hands. He will do everything in his power to enter parliament and retain some political influence, he predicted and emphasized:
"If he fails, it's a total bust for him. From now on, we will forget about it very quickly. If he fails to perform strongly enough in these elections, we will forget him very quickly.
Mehmed believes that both DPS will enter the next National Assembly. According to him, the relationship between Dogan and Peevski will probably mobilize the voters of the Movement.
What is happening in DPS and in BSP is the beginning of the second transition, Mehmed Mehmed was categorical. "The transition with us lasted too long and is still going on. We actually manage the same way. We did not overcome these initial corruption schemes and models and we continue in the same way", he believes.
