The only way to explain what happened in the past night in the National Assembly, goes through the fact that neither side, because there were two sides in yesterday's conflict, does not care about how it looks in the eyes of the voters.
He said this on the air of “Good morning, Europe” on Euronews, the political psychologist Prof. Antoineta Hristova.
In her words, during the election campaign, no one will seek to expand their support, but on the contrary, they will rely on their already solid voters, as well as on the corporate and paid vote.
"First of all, you cannot bring such an important topic into the late last night, at 9 p.m., of this parliament, it is absurd. This immediately suggests a desire for things to happen quickly and in the dark. Second, you can't bring them in without a debate. The behavior of those who occupied the stage, because it is no longer a tribune but a stage, was an election campaign. Their style, both on "Revival" and on ITN, is scandalous. This scandalization of society, this darkness of the parliament, is such a suggestion for its content that words are superfluous, Prof. Hristova also pointed out.
According to her, Bulgarian society could no longer continue in this way and a new solution is needed. It is both in the change of the political model and in the withdrawal of the old political leaders. „There is nothing wrong with existing parties competing for support. The bad thing is that the leaders of the first political forces should have backed down a long time ago, they should have understood that they can't lead”, commented the expert.
