Diana Damyanova: At the top of every party stands an unacceptable person or group of people - 1

The Bulgarian political elite, insofar as this group is an elite, does not stand in the stadium where the audience is, because it is in another stadium. They play for each other and this selfishness leads the audience to intolerance. This is how Diana Damyanova commented on the beginning of the election campaign in an interview with BNR.

"We are starting a campaign that will be marked by disgust and will lead to the expected result of sociologists – just over 2 million people to vote. And that depends on those who fought and pulled the strings in the parliament last night. I didn't hear political declarations, what policies they will implement, but we have oaths, who will not ally with whom", the PR expert shared his opinion.
And added:

"Now everything is like before - people stuck neck to neck. This symbol of the extinguished hall is wonderful, that is exactly where the Bulgarian political class is."
According to her, the combination of complete political inadequacy and threats that the elections will not be fair will lead to the fact that the elections will be fair, but 1/4 of the Bulgarian people will vote.

"An election campaign is a production of a play in a big theater and it has to be well advertised with good actors and good scripts and a good playwright and it has to be played right. If they look at the campaign piecemeal and on the last day want to attract voters, they won't achieve anything, Damyanova thinks about the mobilization for voting at the last moment.

She advised politicians, "if they have nothing to say, it is better to be silent".
According to her, leadership debates would bring the audience back to the stadium "and it would be a spectacular spectacle":

"Because the leaders have no political charisma, no morals and their bargaining will be more of a show for the public. At the top of every party stands an unacceptable person or group of people. We have a problem with the actors, the drama and the goals of the show. The Bulgarian political class is many times lower than the Bulgarian people – intelligent and educated and he does not want to watch ridiculous spectacles
