The courageous humanitarian mission of the MEP from the DPS Elena Yoncheva for the rescue of the kidnapped Bulgarian sailors from the ship Galaxy Leader - Lyubomir Chanev and Danail Veselinov, who have been in captivity of the Houthis since November last year, together with 17 other sailors, instead of respect and admiration, was provoked by Rumen Radev. This is stated by the chairman of the PG of the DPS Delyan Peevski.

“Once again, Radev is trying to eat problems and topics that seem PR-attractive to him. For his ego. And if it wasn't so dangerous for those whose fate he and his team have been doing nothing about for 11 months now, it would be a pity”, Peevski emphasizes.

The chairman of the PG of the DPS insists that the president “let Elena carry out her mission, she knows what she is doing, and he should humble himself and not push simple scenarios of a fake savior to the public.

“After his appearances and PR-scenes there are either tragedies or farces. It is not forgotten what happened to “Count Ignatievo” after his advertising flight, and those responsible for the tragedy are still in their places because of pressure from him to keep their posts”, explains Peevski.
