The Central Election Commission opened a procedure for awarding a public order for the production and transport of the paper ballots and the rolls for the voting machines on October 27. It is clear from the Commission's decision that representatives of the BNB printing house will be invited to conduct negotiations and conclude contracts.
31 types of ballots will be produced for voting in the country – for each electoral district. For voting in the sections outside the country, there will be only one type of ballot, specified "Nova TV".
The estimated number of paper ballots to be produced for the elections for people's representatives on October 27, 2024 is 6,800,000, according to the claimed circulations.
The maximum estimated value for one paper ballot is BGN 0.26, excluding VAT.
The estimated number of rolls of the specialized paper for printing machine voting ballots for the October 27, 2024 parliamentary elections is 25,000 rolls. The estimated value for one roll of specialized paper for printing ballots from machine voting is BGN 14.57 excluding VAT.
The deadline for delivery of the paper ballots and rolls for the machine to all regional administrations is until October 24, and for the Ministry of Internal Affairs for securing the vote abroad - until October 13.
