The leader of the civil association BOEC Georgi Georgiev managed to convict the prosecutor's office of illegal use of special intelligence tools (SRS) against him in the period July - November 2020. The news was announced by his lawyer
The case in the Sofia City Court is from last year, the decision has entered into force.
The prosecutor's office was ordered to pay 6,000 BGN to Georgiev for non-property damages.
The months in question in the summer and autumn of 2020 were an arena of heated civil protests against the third cabinet of Boyko Borisov, in which Georgiev took an active part.
