Residents of three Haskovo villages protest because of water shortage, BNT reported.
People from the village of Aleksandrovo in Haskovo, Konstantinovo in Simeonovgrad and Polyanovo in Harmanliy insist that the problem of lack of water, which has been going on for more than 20 years, be solved by building a new water supply system.
The pipes that supply the villages are old, laid in the 1960s and are constantly bursting. An additional problem is that the water pipeline passes through the territory of 3 municipalities - Harmanli, Haskovo and Simeonovgrad, supplying four villages - Bryagovo, Polyanovo, Aleksandrovo and Konstantinovo.
Today the protestors will demand that the Waterworks - Haskovo find a way to permanently supply water to the settlements, where many young families also live.
